FIFA ranking: Eagles move one spot

Three-time African champions, Super Eagles, have moved one spot to the 38th position in the latest FIFA ranking released on Friday.
With 716 points in July, the Gernot Rohr side shared the same spot on the log with Greece who are also ranked 38th in the world.
On the continent, the Eagles are placed sixth behind their World Cup qualifier opponents, the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon.
Both teams will clash next month in crucial World Cup qualifiers.
Nigeria will host the Indomitable Lions in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State on September 1, with the reverse game in Yaounde three days later.
Meanwhile, Brazil returned to the top of the ranking after a one-month hiatus, replacing reigning FIFA World Cup champions Germany (2nd, down 1), who slipped back into second spot.
Argentina remain in third but the heavyweight trio are accompanied in the top five by two sides reaching unusually heady heights. Switzerland (4th, up 1) have reached their highest position since the very first month of the World Ranking (they were third in August 1993), while Poland (5th, up 1) are at an all-time high.
The next World Ranking will be published on September 14, 2017.
