Super Eagles captain and goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama, on Tuesday snubbed the Nigeria Football Federation by not honouring its summons.
Enyeama did not show up at the NFF secretariat in Abuja to honour the invitation of the federation over what was considered his “unguarded statement” before the Nigeria versus Chad match in Kaduna.
The goalkeeper had condemned the choice of the venue for the African Cup of Nations qualifying match.
He said it was not safe for security reasons.
Owing to this, the NFF invited the goalkeeper to appear before its Organising and Disciplinary Committee headed by Barrister Chris Green.
The committee waited in vain for Enyeama on Tuesday.
