The Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari has felicitated with the former Chairman of the Board of Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON), Alhaji Aliyu Kola Belgore as he marks 80 years old.
The Emir who is the Chairman of Kwara traditional Council stated this in a goodwill message by his Spokesman, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona Tuesday, in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.
The first class traditional ruler described Belgore as an accomplished Banker, administrator, family man and proud ambassador of the Ilorin Emirate, which earned him the traditional title, “Jarma of Ilorin” in 2006.
Sulu-Gambari said, “as you become an Octogenarian, having spent over 960 months on earth, covering different stages and statuses as a proud Nigerian and elder statesman.
“I am glad to join your family, friends, associates and the entire world to celebrate and share the joy of the moment with you,
“You have, by your excellent qualities, demonstrated exceptional leadership skills as an accomplished head of various banks in Nigeria and financial consultant to both local and international institutions.
“You, without any blemish, ensured the security of investments of depositors and economic growth of the nation,” the Emir said.

Also, the Chairman of the state Council of Chiefs, Mai-Martaba said Belgore is a blessing to humanity.
He said that Belgore’s loyalty and commitments to the unity and peace of the Ilorin Emirate deserves commendations from the entire Shehu Alimi dynasty.
Sulu-Gambari therefore prayed that Almighty Allah grant the celebrant more years on earth, with sound health and absolute comfort to serve humanity and nation at large, to the admiration of his Creator.
