Dear God,
My first time of writing an open letter to you. I don’t know your exact location but I am sure you’re reading my message very clearly since you’re Omnipresent and you know everything below and above. No argument.
Please bring back our senses in Nigeria to know that we don’t need to pray to you at all to have good roads, modern hospitals, youth employment, clean water, affordable housing, abundant food, constant electricity and others.
We did not vote for YOU to provide us with all the mentioned basic needs. As political animals, we supported and voted for human beings not extra terrestrial creatures. We did not even appoint you to be our bank managers.
You’re not in charge of our economy but human beings that you created.
Oh Supreme Beings, please bring back our senses to really understand that Nigerian politicians are not from the moon, they once lived as our next door neighbours few years ago. Although, many of them have looted enough money to bribe the heavenly gate men on judgement day.
Almighty God, when are you going to open our eyes and senses in Nigeria to all the wonders of the outside world? When are you going to stop, I mean full stop, not even a coma to all this artificial ‘population control’ via ethno-religious cleansing and bomb explosions in Nigeria? You don’t go on holiday? You’re not even on strike for a micro-second!
Papa God, please bring back our senses in the largest economy in Africa to stop ‘over-respecting’ our internal colonialists and political dealers (sorry I mean leaders). They don’t have two heads!
Oh God, please open our inner eyes and senses to really study the ‘behind-the-camera’ lifestyles of your pseudo-ambassadors on earth. We always call them ‘Men of God’ in Nigeria. Many of them are ‘jet-set’ for your paradise.
As the whole world has been praying to ‘Bring-Back-Our-Girls’ from the Shangisha forest (Sorry Sir, I mean Sambisa forest!), please kindly revive Mr. Common Sense that was murdered many years ago by wicked souls.
Grand Commander of the Universe, please bring back our senses as urgently as possible to understand that we have looters, tribalists, ritualists and despicable people in all the tribes in Nigeria. No tribe has the monopoly of all these odd people.
Finally, if you don’t bring back our senses as soon as possible, I am sure the chronic unbelievers, incurable agnostics and unrepentant atheists would have enough reasons to challenge you on your judgement day since you’ll approve a fair trial.
Thanks for your eternal tolerance and forgiveness.
Your Humble Servant.
Jagunmolu Baba Adam (Arikuyeri 1).
