Crystal Palace boss, Ian Holloway, is making a £2.5 million bid to sign unhappy West Brom striker, Osaze Peter Odemwingie.
Holloway wants the maverick forward to join the Eagles and give them extra variety in their attack as they try to stay in the big time.
Odemwingie is out of favour at the Hawthorns after his bizarre attempt to force a move to QPR.
Albion will take less money for Odemwingie than they wanted in the last window, but they are prepared to get him off their books.
Holloway wants to add Odemwingie to his squad after signing Dwight Gayle from Peterborough and he is also negotiating a deal for Newcastle midfielder, Dan Gosling.
