Breaking: PDP chieftain collapses in court

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party in Osun State, Fatai Oyedele, popularly known as Diekola, collapsed in court on Wednesday.
The PDP chieftain defected from the All Progressives Congress following his face-off with the outgoing Osun State Governor, Rauf Aregbesola.
Oyedele is standing trial alongside two others, Segun Adekilekun and Sikiru Lawal.
They were arrested by the police shortly before the governorship rerun held on September 27, 2018 in Osun State.
During their arraignment on Wednesday, Oyedele, who looked frail, collapsed after they were ushered into the dock.
The Magistrate, Olusegun Ayilara, then ruled that he could not take the plea of a dying person.
Ayilara adjourned the case to November 23 for plea taking.
