The Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir el-Rufai, has tested positive to Coronavirus Disease.
The Governor himself confirmed the development on the Twitter handle of the Kaduna State Government.
He said he has gone into self-isolation as required by the case management guidelines of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control for someone that is not showing symptoms.
El-Rufai was among the Governors that were requested by the NCDC to go for testing after coming into contact with a confirmed case.
