Aare Adams, who was referring to last Thursday’s signing by Ambode of the Yoruba Promotion Bill into ‘Yoruba Language Preservation and Promotion Law’ declared: “Any country or state that forgets its language will eventually forget its culture and such a political entity will soon become extinct. The new LRU, according to the Commissioner, would be situated in Badagry, Costain, Epe and Ikorodu areas of the State, adding that the decision to locate a new fire station at Ijegun was informed by the determination of the State Government to prevent a reoccurrence of the recent fire incident that gutted a tank farm at Ijegun Ibasa in the Ojo Local Government Area of the state.
