The Governor of Osun State, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, has confirmed the appointment of Prof. Akeem Olawale Lasisi as the substantive Chief Medical Director of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Teaching Hospital, Osogbo.
A statement released by the Director Bureau of Communication and Strategy, Semiu Okanlawon, quoted a letter signed by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Gboyega Oyetola, as confirming the appointment.
The letter, titled: “Re: Appointment of substantive Chief Medical Director,” was dated April 8, 2016 and addressed to the Chairman of LAUTECH’s Management Board.
The statement read in part: “I am to convey to you, the approval of the Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola the appointment of Prof. Akeem Olawale Lasisi as the substantive Chief Medical Director of the Teaching Hospital with effect from 8 April, 2016.”
Prof Lasisi has been operating in acting capacity as the CMD of the institution.
