Labour Party’s governorship candidate in Saturday’s election in Ekiti State, Hon. Michael Opeyemi Bamidele, has congratulated the Governor-elect and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Ayodele Fayose, on his victory.
Bamidele also thanked the people of Ekiti State for standing by him all through the election and campaign period, applauding their maturity and peaceful conduct during and after the exercise.
He disclosed this in a statement signed by his Media Assistant, Ahmed Salami, on Monday, shortly after he attended LP’s stakeholder’s meeting where the party commenced plans for the 2015 elections.
The statement said: “I’m grateful to all Ekiti Kete for their peaceful conduct and show of love during and after the election.
“I also want to congratulate the Governor-elect, Mr. Peter Ayodele Fayose.
“May God grant you the wisdom to lead our state to greatness.
“God bless Nigeria, God bless Ekiti State.”
