Globacom on Sunday treated Asaba, Delta State residents to an amazing evening of pre-Christmas fun with 15 best-in-class national and international artistes among the cast of the Glo Laffta fest show that held the Delta State capital spell bound with full dose of comedy and music.
The Asaba edition is the ninth show in the series of the 10-week package of fun and entertainment to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the company.
It was attended by a mammoth crowd of fun seekers from the city and adjourning towns.
The night of jokes and music was opened by top Asaba based comedian, Frank D Don.
Then followed Odogwu, who played a fast one on the crowd.
SimCard, 2canTalk and Osama were just funny in their delivery.
Their jokes centered round Igbo and Niger-Delta mannerisms.
Nigeria’s leading comedian, Basket mouth, who anchored the event, in his words said to the crowd: “This is a way of saying a big thank you for loyalty and support for the Glo brand in the last 10 years.”
The final edition of this season’s Glo Lafftafest will hold in Ibadan, Oyo State.
