Obinna Nwaka, Director-General of Committee of Youth on Mobilisation and Sensitisation, has survived a ghastly auto crash at the presidential villa bridge leading to Asokoro in Abuja.
The accident, which occurred during a downpour at exactly 9:46 p.m, on Monday involved an articulated vehicle.
The articulated vehicle with uncontrollable speed hit the Honda car belonging to Nwaka with registration number, ‘PRESIDENCY CYMS 007’, from behind and then left him unconscious.
According to report, the driver and his motor boy ran away without assisting or providing solution to the damages as nobody was there to assist the victim.
The News Agency of Nigeria report that Nwaka, leader of CYMS, “a youth group played a vital role in the mobilisation of youth to support the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari”
He told NAN that he was grateful to God for saving his life, adding that he is alive, strong and hearty.
He said that he has reported the incident to the police and office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.
Nwaka, also served as the South East Director, Planning and Strategy at the Presidential Support Committee and was a Member of Presidential Campaign Council.
