No fewer than 15 persons were feared killed in an accident involving two petrol tankers and a commercial bus on Sunday morning at Odo Oba, near Ogbomosho, Oyo State.
The accident occurred when one of the petrol tankers, coming from Katsina State, tried to avoid a bad road, leading a head on collision with the commercial bus coming from the opposite direction.
The National Emergency Management Agency said three persons escaped.
However, the Federal Road Safety Corps said only three people died.
Two of the dead were trapped in the burning bus, according to the Unit Commander of the FRSC in Ogbomosho, G. A. Adedipe.
