Nigeria’s duo of Victor Moses and Shehu Abdullahi topped Africa’s Best XI list released by the Confederation of African Football on Tuesday.
Moses and Abdullahi played significant roles in Nigeria’s qualification on MatchDay 5 of the Russia 2018 World Cup.
Abdullahi won an assist in the 73rd minute against the Chipolopolo of Zambia and was voted the Man of Match.
On the lists are: Khadim N’Diaye (Senegal), Achraf Hakim (Morocco), Ahmed Hegazi (Egypt), Kalidou Koulibaly (Senegal), Mbarak Boussoufa (Morocco), Youssef Msakni (Tunisia).
Others are: Percy Tau (South Africa), Khalid Boutsib (Morocco) and Mohamed Salah (Egypt).
Nigeria will play their next game in the series against Algeria on November 6.
