West Bromwich Albion of England has reiterated that Nigerian international, Osaze Odemwingie, will not be released to any club at a cheap price, The Eagle Online has learnt.
Reports have it that West Brom is sticking to their guns and demanding their full £2 million asking price for rebel striker, Odemwingie, with Al Nasr and Fulham interested in the player.
Crystal Palace failed with a £1.75 million offer last week, ust as Palace, another English Premier League side Fulham are said to be interested in a move for Odemwingie, following the club’s owner, Shahid Khan, who sanctioned a move for the striker.
Al Nasr of Dubai’s £850,000 (Dh4.76m) bid for Odemwingie was also turned down by West Brom.
The 31-year-old is expected to leave the Hawthorns this summer, having been made to train with the reserves, following his well-documented failed bid to engineer a move to Queens Park Rangers last January.
Fulham are currently the front runners to sign the out-of-favour Nigerian after tabling a bid worth nearly double Nasr’s offer, but the Arabian Gulf League is refusing to give up hope.
