Speaking to newsmen shortly after his arrival from Europe and United Kingdom on a 12- day visit, where he was received warmly by members of the group, Aare Adams said the group was inaugurated six years ago to unite Yoruba sons and daughters in the Diaspora for socio-economic integration, growth and networking of Nigerians abroad.

Emmanuel Agu, the Portfolio Manager, Mainstream Lager and Stout Brands, Nigerian Breweries Plc, said in addition to Goldberg’s commitment to culture and the tradition of the Yoruba people, it would use Isedowo to inspire entrepreneurship in the region thus impacting employment and income generation.

“By next year, the jostle for political positions will begin, we need to come together to see how our collective interests will be projected and protected. Yorubas should stop pretending that all is well while our physical, structural and moral values continue to nose dive while the political class continue to protect their pocket and the people wallow in penury.”

“This is a symbolic rally to warn against the assault on Yoruba heritage. We are sick of people who trample on our heritage even though they make their millions on our territory,” a leader of the group, Araoye Akinwunmi, told the crowd that gathered at the entrance of Emzor Pharmaceuticals Limited, a major Igbo business outlet located on Aswani Road, Isolo area of Lagos

The ACN said even if the PDP had not succeeded in giving the post of House Speaker to Yoruba in accordance with its so-called zoning formula, it could have rewarded them with known choice ministries or other top appointments, instead of totally relegating a whole people into irrelevance in its scheme of things
