It was the first physical meeting of the Council since the COVID-19 lockdown of 2020.
Addressing newsmen after their meeting on Monday in Abuja, the Chairman of the Northern Governors Forum and Governor of Plateau State, Simon Lalong, said the meeting was necessary to douse tension and allay fears.
