Baru gave the commendation in a statement issued by the NNPC Spokesman, Ndu Ughamadu in Abuja on Saturday.
The summon followed the boycott of Tuesday’s Federation Accounts Allocation Committee by the Commissioners of Finance for the 36 states of the Federation.
This is coming after the Federation Account Allocation Committee meeting on Tuesday was inconclusive due to discrepancies of about N37.76 billion in revenue presented by the NNPC.

The order was contained in a statement on Wednesday in Abuja by the NNPC Spokesman, Ndu Ughamadu.
The meeting, which was presided over by the Chief of Staff to the President, Alhaji Abba Kyari, was held at the old Banquet hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Baru, who said this to newsmen after a tour of some filling stations in Abuja, added that 1,733 trucks left various depots to various destinations nationwide to ease the fuel situation.
Baru, who disclosed this to State House correspondents in Abuja on Friday, reiterated NNPC’s position to ensure the pump price of fuel was maintained at the current official price of N145 per litre.
Baru is expected to appear before Senator Kabiru Marafa-led committee on January 4.
