The Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, has said that the 2019 general elections would not affect the board’s 2019/2020 examination.

Oloyede, who is also the Secretary General of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, made the plea at the first Ramadan Lecture of the Point Newspapers held at LTV 8 Agidingbi, Lagos.
Oloyede said this while delivering a lecture at a colloquium to mark the 61st birthday of Governor Rauf Aregbesola on Sunday in Osogbo.
Oloyede made this known at the sideline of the 2018 Nigerian Police recruitment examinations, conducted at the JAMB Computer Based Test centre at Bwari in the FCT.
Abiru made the plea in Lagos while speaking on the topic: “Muslims and Nation Building,” at a special prayer and exaltation session in honour of three distinguished Muslim scholars.
Speaking at the JAMB office in Bwari, FCT, he said government never expected such huge remittance because the revenue target of the board for 2017 was N500 million.
The Registrar of the Board, Prof. Is-haq Oloyede, stated this on Tuesday in Abuja when the Acting Chairman of the EFCC, Ibrahim Magu, visited the board in Bwari, Abuja.
Oloyede made the call during a meeting with security operatives and other stakeholders at the Bwari Area Council in Abuja.
Oloyede, who dismissed the speculated N5.2 billion as amount remitted to the Federal Government during the period under review, said: “The board paid in N7.8 billion to Federal Government and not N5.2 billion.”
