The Management of Ekiti State University, Ado Ekti, says it has begun investigations into allegation of sexual misconduct involving one of its lecturers, Dr O.O Aduwo.

A 33-year-old medical student at the Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti, Victor Ogungbemi, on Tuesday appealed to the governments of Ekiti and Ondo State and other well-meaning Nigerians to assist him in raising the N20 million he needs for further medical treatment in India.
Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti on Tuesday approved the removal of the Vice- Chancellor of the Ekiti State University, Prof. Sam Oye-Bandele.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that at as early as 7.30 a.m., the students had converged at the only entrance into the campus and locked the main gate of the university to prevent human and vehicular movement into the institution.
Members of the union in the university embarked on the strike since January over unresolved staff welfare issues and unpaid salaries.
Some of the students told the News Agency of Nigeria on Monday in Ado Ekiti that they were uncomfortable as the strike had entered the third month.
The authorities also threatened to expose members of such groups while skills acquisition courses had been designed to train the students for self employment after graduation.
He said: “This ranking means I still have lots of work to do on myself to be where I want to be.
Fayose had in reaction to recent massacre of two students of the Ekiti State University sponsored a bill for death penalty for student cultists found in the state.
While appending his signature to the bill at the Government House in Ado-Ekiti on Monday, Fayose said the signing was a confirmation of the unwavering commitment of the state government to combating terrorism in the state

When contacted, Prince Adeyeye confirmed that he has resigned his position in the Ekiti State University and has communicated same to Fayose through the right channel
