Matane disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria in Minna, the Niger State capital, on Tuesday.

The people were said to have been killed on Tuesday when the bandits sneaked in from their hideout in Kaduna State.

Alhaji Ahmed Matane, Secretary to the State Government, who announced this in a statement in Minna on Saturday, stated that the ban was with immediate effect.

Inaugurating the committee in Minna, the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Ahmed Matane, said government would continue to ensure peace and security of the people at all times.
