Leaders and members of various factions of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ogun State on Monday came together to settle their differences ahead of the upcoming elections.
At a meeting held on Monday at the Sagamu residence of the former Governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, the factions reechoed their commitment to sheathe their swords and forge ahead for the progress of the party.
The leaders present were former Minister for Commerce, Senator Jubril Martins-Kuye; Senators Ayodeji Otegbola and Lekan Mustapha; and Apostle Dave Salako among numerous others.
Addressing the press after the meeting, Daniel said that the meeting was aimed at repositioning the party to take charge of the mission to save the state from the current maladministration and the re-election of President Goodluck Jonathan.
