Manny Pacquiao faces a lawsuit for allegedly failing to disclose a shoulder injury ahead of his fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Two people in Nevada have filed a complaint with the US District Court in Nevada, accusing the Filipino of defrauding ticket buyers, television viewers and gamblers.
The plaintiffs are seeking “all relief allowed by law” from the 36-year-old’s camp, reports Reuters.
Nevada Athletic Commission boss Francisco Aguilar previously said that Pacquiao could face punishment if he is found guilty of intentionally concealing his injury pre-bout.
Mayweather defeated Pacquiao by a unanimous decision at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on May 2.
Reports suggest that Pacquiao is unlikely to box again for nine to 12 months due to his injury.
