The Independent National Electoral Commission has suspended the collation of results for Saturday’s election in Delta Central Senatorial District.
The suspension of the counting was announced on Monday.
There were also indications on Monday that the result for Delta North Senatorial District may be cancelled.
This followed a major face-off between two of the contenders, Peter Nwaoboshi and Hon. Victor Ochei.
While Nwaoboshi is the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Ochei is flying the flag of the Labour Party
The Returning Officer for the poll said there was fraud in Ukwuani Local Government Area.
