Three Imams and two Pastors have been sentenced to one month imprisonment in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja for violating the lockdown order of the FCT Administration.
They were said to have been caught while holding congregational sessions.
The pastors involved were Pastor Phillips Olumbori of the Celestial Church of Christ, Lugbe; Rev. Moses Chinedu of Mercy City Gospel Centre, Aco Estate, Lugbe.
The Imams are Abdullahi Mohammed of Gwarimpa Estate; Imam Suleiman Idris, Mobi Close, Area 11, Garki; and Deputy Imam Useni Umar, Mobi Close, Area 11, Garki, Abuja.
The Presiding Magistrate, Idayat Akonni, handed down the sentences at the Eagle Square Mobile Court on Sunday in Abuja.
Akonni, however, gave them an option of N500,000 fine.
