Nigeria Premier League champions, Dolphins of Port Harcourt, began the CAF Champions League in a spectacular fashion with a massive away win in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea.
Dolphins recorded an emphatic 3-0 win against Sony Nguema in front of a fairly large crowd.
The one-sided game saw the Nigerian side taking total control of the game from the blast of the whistle.

In the 7th, Adamu Mohammed broke the defensive network of the home side with only the goalkeeper to beat but pushed the ball too far away from himself to make any impact.
However in the 16th, Emma Nwachi scored to break the deadlock.
Nwachi wasted an opportunity to increase the tally in the 20th minute when he failed to hit the target after getting a defence splitting pass from Chidi Osuchukwu but he blasted wide with just goalkeeper to beat.
In the 26th minute of play, a one, two combination between Adamu Mohammed and Osuchukwu saw the latter rounding off the goalkeeper to score.
Ifeanyi Egwim outran his marker and scored the third goal in the 50th minute.
Meanwhile, a member of the Rivers State delegation to the match was slapped while celebrating the second goal.
This led to a fight that was settled by the police.
The second left comes up in a fortnight in Port Harcourt.
