Kendrick Lamar, Bruno Mars and Ed Sheeran were the biggest winners at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards held on Sunday.
The Award is an annual honour given by Billboard, a publication and music popularity chart covering the music business since 1990.
The 2018 awards, held at MGM Grand Las Vegas, were hosted by Kelly Clarkson and reviewed songs between the reporting periods of April 8, 2017 through March 31, 2018.
While Ed Sheeran and Bruno Mars picked up five awards each, Kendrick Lamar had a total of six awards.
Ed Sheeran got awards for Top Artist, Top Male Artist, Top Hot100 Artist, Top Song Sales Artist, Top Radio Songs Artist and Top Radio Song ‘Shape of You’.
Also, Bruno Mars got Top R&B Artist, Top R&B Male Artist, Top R&B Tour, Top R&B Album ’24K Magic and Top R&B Song for ‘That’s What I Like’.
Kendrick Lamar was awarded Top Streaming Songs Artist, Top Rap Artist, Top Rap Make Artist, Top Billboard 200 Album, Top Rap Album ‘DAMN.’ and Top Streaming Song (Album) ‘Humble’.
Hollywood veteran, Janet Jackson, became the first black woman to receive the Billboard Music ‘Icon’ Awards.
