West Brom keen on Ighalo

West Brom are keen to sign Watford striker, Odion Ighalo, but face an uphill battle to secure his signature before the transfer window closes.
The Baggies want to bring in the 27-year-old as a direct replacement for Saido Berahino, who joined Stoke City earlier in the window.
There is significant distance between the two parties over the fee, though, and Watford favour a sale of Ighalo in the summer rather than this month.
According to reports, West Brom’s offer sits between £10m and £11m, while Watford want in excess of £15m for the Nigerian.
And Watford’s owners, the Pozzo family, are keen to postpone the sale until the summer window.
Ighalo joined Watford from Italian side Udinese, initially on loan, in 2014. He netted 17 goals in all competitions for the Hornets last term.
