Vice President Mohammed Namadi Sambo was in Kaduna on Saturday to condole with his family members over the death of his younger brother, Mallam Aliyu Sambo.
The forty-year-old Aliyu was involved in a road accident along Mando Road, Kawo, Kaduna, and had since been buried according to Islamic rites.
The Vice President, who was accompanied by the Kaduna State Governor, Mr. Patrick Ibrahim Yakowa; his Deputy, Ramallan Yero; the Minister of Defence, Dr. Bello Haliru Mohammed; the Minister of Transport, Senator Idris Umar; the Minister of the Environment, Hajiya Hadiza Mailafiya; and several other dignitaries, prayed Almighty Allah for the repose of Aliyu’s soul and for Allah to grant him Aljana Firdausi.
He also prayed Allah to grant his kith and kin the fortitude to bear the loss.
Similarly, Sambo, while at Sir Kashim Ibrahim House, the Kaduna State Government House, to inspect the section that was affected by an electrical fault, commiserated with Yakowa and the people of Kaduna State over the incident.
