The Member representing Toungo Ganye, Jada and Mayo Belwa Federal Constituency, Hon. Abdulrazaq Namdas, has said this year’s budget will be free from all forms of padding.
The lawmaker, who is the Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Media and Publicity, revealed that the lawmakers have garnered all the experiences that could help them overcome avoidable mistakes.
Namdas revealed this to newsmen over the weekend in Ganye, Adamawa State while inspecting projects he initiated in the constituency.
He said both the Executive and the Legislature have gained more experience, seriousness and focus, adding: “The issue of file missing is not going to be.
“You know you are learning day by day from any job you are doing.
“The house is more experienced, serious, focused and business minded than before.”
Recall that the 2016 budget was characterised by controversies of padding.
While inspecting the Ganye Civic Center, a multi million project that is intended to have a seating capacity of 1,000 and provide jobs for the teeming unemployed youths of the area, Namdas reiterated that the civic center is first of its kind in the whole of Adamawa State.
He visited all sites of his ongoing projects in the four local governments covered by his constituency, ranging from schools to solar water systems, dam and factory water systems.
