The lawmakers announced their decision in separate letters sent to the Speaker, Alhaji Hamisu Chidari, Wednesday in Kano, the State’s capital.
This followed the adoption of a motion by the House Leader, Labaran Madari at the committee of the whole on Tuesday in Kano.
The resolution was made during plenary presided over by the Speaker, Alhaji Hamisu Chidari, on Monday.
Ibrahim-Chidari said this while briefing newsmen shortly after he was sworn in as the new Speaker on Tuesday, following the resignation of Abdulazeez Garba-Gafasa.
The resignation was confirmed to the News Agency of Nigeria on Tuesday in Kano by the Press Secretary to the speaker, Nura Ajingi
Malam Ibrahim Muazzam, leader of the group, said this on Monday while paying a courtesy visit on the Speaker of the House, Alhaji Abdulazeez Gafasa in Kano.
The assembly made the call during Monday’s plenary session presided over by the Speaker, Alhaji Abdulazeez Gafasa, after the presentation of a report by an ad hoc committee set up by the house.

The Kano State House of Assembly on Wednesday received two petitions sent to the House by a civil society organisation and an individual seeking for the investigation of the Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II.
Abdul-Madari, a member of the All Progressives Congress representing Sumaila Constituency, was removed following a motion of urgent public importance presented by Alhaji Muhammad Uba-Gurjiya, also an APC member, representing Bunkure Constituency.
This followed the adoption of the report of the House Committee on Local Government presented at Wednesday’s plenary presided over by the Speaker, Alhaji Abdulazeez Garba-Gafasa.
