The Minister also tasked the media on patriotic journalism and the promotion of unity among the various ethnic groups in the country.

Idris signed the bond with them separately, at the Sectorial Retreat of the Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation and its agencies on Tuesday in Abuja.
He launched it at an iftar (breaking of fast) meeting with journalists, media managers and social media influencers.
