This followed the completion of various judicial processes and subsequent approval of their requests by the relevant authorities, including the state House of Assembly and the state executive council
Awe said that Fayemi has vigorously run the Government of Ekiti State in line with the people-oriented programmes of the ACN and has redefined governance, with all the key sectors of the state’s economy transformed

Fayemi also advocated a review of the constitution such that states and local councils would be given the powers to legislate and act on basic areas that impact more on the lives of people, including education, health and water resources, while the Federal Government retains its powers on defence, currency policy and customs
