Strategic Partners to Ecobank on the summit are Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) and the Nigerian Association of Small & Medium Enterprises (NASME). Others include the Nigeria Incentive-Based Risk Sharing System for Agricultural Lending (NIRSAL) and Nigeria Agribusiness Group (NABG). The speakers and panelists are carefully drawn from government, development finance institutions, banking, trade associations, civil society, non governmental organisations and subject matter experts in technology and agriculture. 

The recent COVID-19 outbreak in the world has significantly dealt the global economy a serious blow, such that even the much respected developed economies are now gasping for Oxygen to survive. Going by this trend, the hitherto fragile Nigerian Economy may be badly hit by the impending depression in our economy, if we fail to pragmatically bailout our major primary production sector which is Agriculture, to stimulate the desired growth

The Special Adviser to the Governor on Food Security, Ganiyu Sanni, disclosed this over the weekend when he led top officials of the Ministry of Agriculture on a monitoring tour of designated sales centres and distributors’ outlets.
