Students and staff of St. Domnic Savio Seminary Akpu, Anambra State have commended former Governor of the state, Peter Obi, for what they called his unquantifiable support to schools throughout the country, especially in Anambra State.

Recently, the wife of the governor of Ekiti state, Bisi Fayemi, was quoted as saying that it is discriminatory for pregnant girls to be expelled from schools whereas, the boys who impregnated them are allowed to continue with their studies. And she is right.

Femi Adesina, the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, in a statement in Abuja on Thursday, said the President disclosed this at the inauguration of the Post Graduate Centre of Excellence at the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Kaduna State.

The governor, who made this revelation at a Stakeholders’ Interactive Meeting on Education in Owerri, the state capital, on Tuesday, said the State Government will not play politics with the future of the younger generation.
