The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (lPMAN) has commended Polaris Bank, Nigeria’s leading digital commercial Bank and Emadeb Energy Services Limited, one of Nigeria’s leading indigenous players in oil and gas, for their collaborative efforts and strategic partnership that resulted in the recent importation of 20,000 metric tonnes of premium motor spirit (petrol) into the country.

Now, the idea of the Federal Government to deregulate the social media will bring about limitation of government control over media companies, either in removing or loosening government restriction media companies, but it is supposed to make the companies protect users from content involving things like violence, terrorism, cyber-bullying and child abuse. Companies will have to ensure that harmful content is removed quickly and take steps to prevent it appearing in the first place.

According to the newspaper, the PPPRA Executive Secretary, Abdulkadir Saidu, said the retail price of petrol would henceforth be determined by demand and supply of the commodity and the international price of crude oil.
Tunji Oyebanji, Chairman, MOMAN, disclosed this on Wednesday in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria in Lagos.
The agency made this known in a statement signed by its Executive Secretary, Saidu Abdulkadir, in Abuja on Sunday.
