Orchestrated by the Chairman of the Agency, CSP Adetayo Akerele, the operation commenced in the wee hours of each day, around 1:30am.

The sting operation, which commenced in the early hours of the day, was supervised by the Chairman of the Agency, CSP Adetayo Akerele, who took illegal occupants and squatters in the corridor by surprise.

 The exercise which kicked off early Saturday morning led to the seizure of over 92 vehicles parked indiscriminately along the highway and picking up passengers at undesignated bus stops, causing serious impediments to traffic flow and pedestrian movement.
