Arinze hosted a public presentation of the books on Thursday at the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs, Lagos.

In a letter which the frontline PDP presidential aspirant personally signed, he wrote: “It is with immense joy that I join family, colleagues and friends to congratulate you on this special occasion of your 50th birthday. You have distinguished yourself as a fine journalist by remaining focused and consistent in the profession for many years.

The memorable and milestone event is slated for the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs (NIIA), on Kofo Abayomi Street, Victoria Island, Lagos, under the distinguished chairmanship of Chief Olusegun Osoba, former Governor of Ogun State.

Sincerely, if you cherish, adore and worship good writing, like I shamelessly do, then you must get a copy of this book. Just take a look at this, and especially how the author expertly incorporated the name of his subject’s security company, Halogen, into a paragraph: ‘Clad in a trendy navy-blue suit and a white shirt that glowed with the penetrating intensity of a halogen lamp, complete with his trademark bow tie, he was every inch a designer’s delight…’ Awesome and amazing description.

At the event, Azuh announced the official release of his books, entitled: “Success Is Not Served A La Carte” and “Encounters – Lessons From My Journalism Career,” to the general public.

Such a person would no doubt be excited and in fact enriched by the new offering, which comes from the depth of the author’s heart as the encounters he has had in his eventful journey in the field of journalism, spanning over two decades. These include not only with members of his family and friends, but thorough-bred achievers who have widened his professional horizon in more ways than one.

Furthermore, the book “highlights the pathway to success, through the experiences of some accomplished Nigerians, who operate in different spheres of our society”. Besides, the book takes a look at a wide spectrum of achievers; from businessmen and women, lawyers, human rights activists through entertainers to top journalists, sportsmen, preachers, to the big players in the nation’s hospitality industry.

Arinze announced the launch of his literary pieces, entitled: “Success Is Not Served A La Carte and Encounters – Lessons From My Journalism Career,” at an exclusive virtual media event on Monday.

This, according to Azuh Arinze, Publisher/Editor-in-Chief of the magazine, was because of the ravaging and rampaging coronavirus pandemic, which has brought the world to its knees.

I devoted my weekend to devouring Aremo Olusegun Osoba’s autobiography: Battlelines – Adventures In Journalism And Politics.” And without any apology, I want to confess that I thoroughly relished and enjoyed it. I also would like to recommend it to all, but especially journalists and politicians, whose terrains were well covered in the book.
