A gubernatorial aspirant of the party, who was also a former Secretary to the State Government, Chief Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, made the remark while fielding questions from a cross section of journalists during a live interview programme of the South West Political Headquarters on Fresh FM, Ibadan at the weekend.

Indeed, we need a movement that will break the chains of corruption, ethnicity, unemployment and bad governance in Nigeria. I am envisaging a revolutionary citizen movement that will vigorously confront the enemies of Nigeria. This movement must not be infested with the cancerous tumours of the ruling All Progressives Congress and the opposition Peoples Democratic Party.

If the hailers and wailers who are largely youths know their worth and had channeled all their excellent political narratives to leadership potentials, perhaps President Muhammadu Buhari wouldn’t have had to stress himself to come back on a life saving mission of rescuing Nigeria ship from manmade storms. Interestingly, our “youths” cannot remember where they have missed it and have no idea of how to grab what they have lost.
