The Management of Penpushing Online Newspapers has uncovered attempts by suspected hackers to clone its website and in a swift response has commenced investigation into the suspected attempt.
The Chairman Editorial Board, Funke Fadugba, made this known in a statement to alert the public and also disassociate itself from a purported report allegedly published with the headline: “I regret joining APC – Rotimi Amaechi,: by an online which claimed its website to be penpushers.com ng.
The statement said: “The Management of Penpushing Online wishes to alert the public of attempts to clone its website (www.penpushingng.org) by some unknown characters using penpushers.com.ng
“The management is currently investigating those behind it to unravel their motive and report same to appropriate authority.”
Fadugba emphasized that penpushing authentic website is www.penpushingng.org, stressing that the online newspaper remains committed to authentic reports across the globe
“It must be stated however that the story: “I regret joining APC-Rotimi Amaechi,’ did not originate from us and it is not our report. Penpushing Online remains committed to authentic reports not only in Nigeria but across the globe
“Our website is www.penpushingng.org We are not fake, we don’t carry fake News because we are real professionals.”
