The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party for the 2023 elections, Atiku Abubakar, says he has met with the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, five times to resolve the lingering crisis within the party without any way forward.
He made this known on Sunday during People’s Townhall, a brainchild of Channels Television and its partners.
The former Vice President said he has met with Wike, who heads the G5, a group of five Governors elected on the platform of the PDP opposed to his candidacy, in different parts of the country and the United Kingdom.
The presidential candidate of the PDP said the ball was now in the court of Wike and his co-travellers.
Abubakar said on Sunday night: “I have met Wike two times in Port Harcourt, two times in Abuja, one time in London, personally.
“It is not on my part.
“It is on the other side.
“I am waiting for him.”
