Bendel Insurance FC of Benin were on Saturday in Benin held to a goal less draw by visiting Bayelsa United FC.
Though the Benin club dominated the match right from the blast of the whistle, they could not convert their chances.
It will be recalled that Insurance had last week in the opening feature of the Nigeria National League lost to J. Atete by a lone goal.
Similarly, the visiting Bayelsa team were held to a goal less draw at home in Yenagoa in the first match of the season last weekend.
Meanwhile, the handler of the Bayelsa club side, Festus Allen, said an away draw was a good one for his team.
While noting that Insurance played a good game, Allen stressed that either team would have won the match.
He said: “Without spiting our opponent, they had their chances and we also had ours.
“Either of us was capable of winning the match.
“With this draw and the one we had in our first game at home, we are just going to prepare well for our next match against against Gateway.”
