Out of contract, Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi, has beamed his searchlight on the African Champions’ foes, Sudan, ahead of their double-header, AFCON 2015 qualifying tie in Khartoum and Abuja.
Keshi, fondly referred to as the Big boss, exclusively told The Eagle Online, that some experts have been employed to provide him with a full dossier of the Central African opponents.
The AFCON 2013 winning coach, who is presently holidaying in , Edo State, urged Nigerians not to lose sleep over the Super Eagles’ opponents, boasting that concerted efforts have been put in place to outrun the Sudanese in the two games.
“We are not going to underrate the Sudanese team and that’s why we have been working round the clock to secure the maximum six points because the Eagles must be in Morocco and that’s best way to make Nigerians happy.
“I have gotten people providing me with useful information about them (Sudan) and I have equally seen some of their recent games. I have been talking with the players, my assistance and we are all good to go.
“We have done some serious work and I can also assure you that Eagles will fly this time as the six points is not negotiable,” Keshi vowed.
The gaffer hinted that the national team’s camp will be opened in Abuja on Sunday and players are expected to start arriving for the crucial game from their bases in Europe.
