This brings to 110 families that have so far been compensated by the government over the bombing of Kano city on January 20, 2012.
The families have been given between N1 million and N2 million.
The Chairman of the Kano January Bomb Blast Relief Committee, Magaji Danbatta, urged the recipients to ensure judicious use of the money.
Danbatta said “the money is to cushion the effect of the hardship being experienced by you as a result of the demise of your bread winners during the blast.”
The presentation ceremony was held on Sunday at the Government House, Kano.
