The Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, has appointed no fewer than three persons as Senior Special Assistant on Street Lights.
According to a letter to one of the appointees, Auwalu Salisu Kingdom, he was appointed as SSA, Street Lights III.
The letter, signed by the Permanent Secretary REPA, Bilkisu Shehu Maimata, on behalf of the Secretary to the Kano State Government, said the appointment was effective February 10, 2020.
The letter said in part: “Your appointment into the position of trust and confidence was made upon careful assessment of your credentials, competence, track record of performance, dedication to duty, vast experience, patriotic disposition and expressed loyalty. It is hoped that your will employ these qualities to bear towards ensuring effective discharge of your assigned roles.
“As we move the State to Next Level of development, it is my sincere hope that you will live aboard board and justify the confidence reposed in you by the Government….”
