Chelsea are reluctant to let Ola Aina extend his stay at Torino.
The Nigeria international spoke on Tuesday about wanting to remain in Turin, having made 29 appearances in all competitions this season.
He told Calciomercato.com: “Stay in Turin? Why not? They have a great support team and the club has an important story.”
But the Evening Standard claims Chelsea are awaiting to see if their transfer ban will be delayed or overturned.
The Blues have appealed FIFA’s decision to ban them from signing any players until the summer of 2020.
