President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered the immediate payment of all outstanding entitlement accruable to the Super Falcons.
The team embarked on a protest on Wednesday over the failure to pay their entitlements amounting to $24,000.
After expressing their anger at the National Assembly, members of the team proceed to the Presidential Villa where they were received by the Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari.
Addressing State House Correspondents after interacting with the team, Kyari said the Falcons have done the nation proud and deserve to earn all their allowances.
Kyari said: “The problem has been resolved.
“They have done us proud and we congratulated them.
“The Ministries of Sports and Finance have been directed to pay tomorrow.
“I don’t know the details of the arrears but they have been directed to pay.
