The Supreme Court has dismissed the application filed by the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party for the 2019 governorship election in Imo State, Emeke Ihedioha, for a review of its judgment.
The judgment was delivered on Tuesday by the seven-member panel led by the Chief Justice of the Federation, Justice Tanko Muhammad.
The court had earlier in the day stood down judgment after counsel to parties to the suit had made their final submissions.
The Supreme Court had on January 14, 2020 declared Hope Uzodinma of the All Progressives Congress winner of the March 9, 2019 governorship poll.
