The Nigeria Police has confirmed the retirement from the Service of Ibrahim Idris, who served as the 19th indigenous Inspector General of Police.
The confirmation was contained in a statement on Tuesday by the Force Public Relations Office, Jimoh Moshood.
According to Moshood, the retirement on Tuesday conceded with the 60th birthday of Idris.
