Breaking: Photo as Saudi frees another Nigerian held over drug related offence

The Saudi authorities have released another Nigerian, Ibrahim Abubakar, held in prison over drug related offences.
The release of the Nigerian followed the intervention of President Muhammadu Buhari.
The intervention had earlier resulted in the release of a student, Zainab Aliyu.
Although Abubakar was declared freed alongside Aliyu the same day, he was only handed over to the Acting Consul General, Nigerian Consulate, Jeddah, Malam Abubakar Ibrahim, on Thursday.
Aliyu and Ibrahim were held on drug related issues.
However, evidence had shown that both are innocent of the charges against them as the drugs found on them were planted by a syndicate in their luggage at the departing airport in Nigeria.
